Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 3pm, our garden is open to the public. There is no need to book or let us know you are coming; just turn up.

Wander and be inspired by the plants and animals that call ErinEarth home. It is a great place for young kids to explore and experiment with rocks, twigs, leaves, logs… all the fun stuff.

Everyone is welcome and here are some ideas of things you could do during your visit

  • Sustainability Trail – why not explore, thanks to Kooringal High Year 7A, 2024), our For Kids, By Kids trail that aims to get us all thinking about what is sustainability?
  • Habitat Trail – would you like to learn how to encourage more local species in your backyard?
  • Time in nature – we have a dedicated nature play area, where young (and old!) ones can dig in our giant sandpit, play with mud, balance, look, manipulate and be creative.
  • Feeding the chooks and ducks is always a hit.
  • Create – photography, drawing, and craft activities are all aided by the amazing diversity of plants and animals at Erin Earth. Bring your own supplies and find your own magical sit spot and start creating.
  • Mindfulness – being mindful in nature means slowing down and noticing what is going on around you. Watch this space, we are excited to announce our Rest, Relax and Renew trail is set to be launched in 2025.

We invite everyone to come and visit our garden and take a good look around. See the Gallery page on our website for recent photos.

ErinEarth also hosts open days from February to November. Usually held once a month on a Saturday, with varying opening hours, these days are an opportunity to visit our garden on the weekend in a family friendly environment. We often hold informative workshops, Q&A sessions, community planting sessions and sometimes are volunteers are even known to have yummy cake and coffee available.

Annually we host our Winter Lantern Festival. Held in the evening, as close to the winter solstice as possible, this is a once-a-year opportunity to see our garden is transformed with lanterns and fires, into an even more awe-inspiring space at night (if that is even possible!).  You can warm your tummy with yummy campfire stew or soup while enjoying the sights and sounds of our space from a different perspective.

We post details of upcoming events on our Facebook and Instagram pages but if you’d like to know when our next open Saturday is, or you have a suggestion for a idea we could shine our light on, please get in touch admin@erinearth.org.au

We look forward to seeing you at our next open event.
